Carolyn in the Yorkship Post
“I always knew crafting would be a big part of my life, I spent my childhood drawing, painting, sewing, and creating something out of nothing.
I redesigned my bedroom at the age of 11, taught myself to sew and studied art and design at university with a degree in fashion.”

Review in Kat got the Cream
“I’ve had a few mixed experiences camping as a family, ranging from the packing up and going home early end of the spectrum to the oh I want to stay forever. I think it’s safe to say that I need a level of comfort (and pretty) when I go camping but that’s not to say that I don’t love getting back to nature. In fact switching off and being in the moment with the kiddos is the real magic of camping as well as seeing all the simple stuff new and afresh through their eyes. Luckily, we got to experience all this and more at a local glamping site called Jollydays.”

"How about a touch of Yorkshire glamour at the boutique Jollydays camp? Set in two hundred acres of private woodland, the luxury bell tents are
larger than your average hotel suite. Kitted out with wooden floors, rugs, chandeliers, wood burners, private toilets and cosy sofas, each tent comes
complete with its own four-poster bed."

Article at Perfect Pitch
"Camping in the Great British outdoors - the romance of getting back to nature, breathtaking countryside, songs
around the campfire, starlit walks, and jolly japes on endless sunny days! The reality however is often very
different, soul destroying tinned or dehydrated meat, deflating airbeds, damp sleeping bags and permafrost on your
toes - in summer! Well now there’s an alternative... Welcome to Jollydays, where we believe there’s no such thing
as bad weather, only inappropriate camping facilities. Out go nylon sleeping bags and in come four poster beds,
chandeliers and sofas by the fire."

Article at Harper’s Bazaar
"Camping in Yorkshire has been revolutionised. Thankfully! Putting the emphasis on privacy, Jollydays’
wonderfully large canopies have been dispatched over 15 acres of quiet woodland. Each 75m2 tent is warm and cosy,
with unexpected homely touches: rugs, a cosy wood burner, gas stove, hot water and toilets to boot. What’s more,
wooden floors, four-poster beds kitted out with wool blankets and cotton sheets, chandeliers and sofas by the
fire make it the ultimate in eco-chic camping."

of luxury camping - or ‘glamping’ - and finds that not even a less-than-glamorous British summer can spoil
the fun."
